Plain, organic, full fat yogurt will make the skin on your face smoother than a baby’s bottom. It’s rich in lactic acids that will improve the appearance of rough skin and make it smooth; exfoliate skin and moisturize dry skin; and prevent wrinkles. Yogurt also contains zinc, which has anti-inflammatory properties that calm redness or swelling caused by acne.

I often put plain yogurt on my face for the benefits above, and recently I’ve discovered the amazing benefits of using frankincense essential oil for skincare. I put several drops in my moisturizing lotion and apply it neat (undiluted) to my face every night before bed over my fermented cod liver oil body butter to prevent wrinkles. Recently I decided to whip up a face mask and decided to combine yogurt and frankincense hoping for amazing results. I was not disappointed! And it’s so quick and easy: It takes only a couple of minutes to prepare.

What you’ll need: plain, full fat, organic yogurt and frankincense essential oil.
I get the cream top yogurt for even more richness.
Simply spoon 1 tablespoon of yogurt into a small bowl and add 6 or so drops of frankincense. Stir to combine. Start with a clean face. Apply a thick coat all over your face, and let sit for 10-20 minutes, then rinse.
Your skin will be soft, dewy, and radiant! Here is what my skin looks like after I wash it off. No filter!
